Dual national (British/Romanian), bilingual Cambridge English Language Teacher (CELTA with 'Distinction'), with over a decade of international experience across a wide range of specialist communication areas (Cambridge international exams, aviation, business, legal & medical English etc.) uses inductive, student-centred approach to assist those looking to further their academic/professional careers via EAP/ESP/EFL tuition. Proven track record in motivating students/trainees to achieve well by identifying people’s needs and nurturing their enthusiasm to learn. I focus on eliciting participation from all the class members to enable, as far as it is practically possible, peer-led learning. Where teacher-led instruction is required, I aim to be clear and concise, while checking understanding across the whole cohort. I have a PhD in Sociology and I am also a Trainer of Trainers in European Affairs with a sound base in Project, Services & General Management. Moreover, I am a seasoned translator & journalist.
